All asphalt surfaces eventually develop cracks due to temperature shifts, moisture, and soil movement. Because these factors are beyond any contractor’s control, Sure-Stripe cannot guarantee work against future cracking.
Cracking is a natural result of environmental conditions—heat, cold, water, and ground movement. No asphalt contractor can eliminate these forces, so warranties against cracking are not practical or industry‑standard.
We use hot‑rubberized crack sealer on large cracks that are ¼ inch (6 mm) wide or wider. Surface hairline cracks or degraded areas are not filled with this material.
These problem areas may continue to fail even after a seal coat. While we do our best to improve the surface, pre‑existing conditions can limit the final result.
Please keep all vehicles off the sealed surface for at least 24 hours after completion to ensure proper curing.
Wait 48 hours after the job is finished before running perimeter sprinklers to prevent water damage to the new surface.
